6-12 Classroom Management Book Club Have an opportunity to engage in a book club to study Rick Smith’s book, “Conscious Classroom Management”. Brainstorm, plan and problem-solve around the area of classroom management with other 6-12 educators. Learn practical, teacher-friendly, research-supported suggestions for effectively managing any 6-12 classroom. Open to all secondary teachers.

This series will provide you tools to engage students through active learning strategies resulting in an increase in sustained learning.

Discovering Effective Homework Practices What is effective homework? How much is enough? How can homework support classroom instruction? How does a teacher know that homework is supporting and/or extending learning? How much involvement should parents have in homework? In this workshop, participants will discover what currrent research says about effective homework practices.
