Conscious Classroom Management – “Unlocking the Secrets of Great Teaching”

Have an opportunity to engage in a book club to study Rick Smith’s book, “Conscious Classroom Management”. Brainstorm, plan and problem-solve around the area of classroom management with other 6-12 educators. Learn practical, teacher-friendly, research-supported suggestions for effectively managing any 6-12 classroom. Open to all secondary teachers.

Building relationships and effective communication begin at the opening bell. Getting to know students' interests, strengths, learning needs and abilities is essential for creating an effective learning environment and ensuring student achievement.
